History of the discovery of Diesel engine

In 1892 a German named Rudolf Diesel, planning a new type of motor fuel that does not require spark plugs to light fuel. Motor is planned using a high ratio compression, not using a mixture of air and gasoline, but only the fresh air which is inhaled it enters the cylinder on the suction step. So using a high compression ratio it can be obtained by high air temperature at the end of the compression step, so that when such fuel is sprayed in the form of diesel oil into the engine, and fuel burning immediately without the need for stepping-fire from the spark plug as in motor gasoline in general .
